It must be Drama month for Sagittarians.
My poor boyfriend was in a car accident this past weekend. A woman stopped at a stop sign on a merge, didn’t see anyone coming, and bam! She hit my boyfriend; he had the right away, who was riding on his bicycle. He had all the safety apparatus and she still did not see him. FORTUNELY, he is a lucky one! He survived the crash, but he came away with four fractured bones and a sensitive arm, due to a fracture in his shoulder blade, and he can’t use it much for a while.
Second, my mom has shingles! My goodness! Poor woman! Within 48 hours she went to the doctor’s and received some anti-viral medication, but it isn’t working. So she and I went to New Seasons to purchase some eucalyptus oil so she can use it on her boils to relieve pain and hope that it will act as an antiseptic and dry those boils. Good news is that old boils have dried; bad news is the new boils are popping up.
Third, I need my MMR shot. Apparently the MMR shot I received at 9 months old in Hong Kong is not acceptable. Therefore, I need my THIRD (yes, THIRD) MMR shot now, so that I may continue my education at Portland State University. I can’t even register for summer classes until I receive my vaccination. On top of which, PSU Health Center has such a time constraint on when students can receive their vaccination (between 9am – 3:20pm) that conflicts with my overall schedule. So, I am taking off work early to go have my vaccination. Anymore of this time off then I’m going to have to take time off without pay. Ah, I will be a poor student, indeed. Although… I really would not mind one week off without pay, because I think it would be worth it for my sanity; and I’ll be able to catch up on my homework!
Fourth, Shannon (a Sagittarian like myself) is has some issues of her own. One is her fairly new car that has been eating up oil like there’s no tomorrow (she just found out that she needs a new engine now!). Then there’s some soccer drama with her son and her search for a new house, etc.
I would just like to say, May, YOU SUCK!
On a lovely note, while at school yesterday, I stopped by the Basha Mediterranean food cart on campus and had a delicious falafel! I will definitely eat there again!
